Things Needed:

1. Windows Xp Installer with Product Key.

System Unit:

1. 300 MHz Processor or higher.
2. 128 MB of RAM.
3. At least 1.5GB of available space on the hard disk.
4. CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
5. Keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.

First thing you need to do when you install windows is to check that your system unit is working properly and in good condition. Make sure your cd-rom drive and hard disk drive is connected. You can check it in standard CMOS Setup in your system BIOS. The next important settings you need to configure in your BIOS is to set your cd-room drive as the 1st boot device, the purpose of this settings is to tell your computer to read first the cd-room drive wherein your windows installer is mount on it before reading the hard disk. Save settings and Exit BIOS.

Lets start the Windows Setup on How to Install Windows Xp.

Insert your windows Xp SP3 installer in your cd-room drive, The System will read the windows installer inside the Cd-room wait until it show "Press any key to boot from cd" then press any key.

After Windows Setup is loading the files. Welcome to Setup window will appear, to setup windows Xp press "Enter".

Please wait until Windows Xp License Agreement window will appear. Then to agree the Licensing agreement press "F8".

Next step the system will search if you computer has a previous installation of XP. If there is a previous installation computer will detect it if you want to repair it press "R" but if you want a fresh copy of windows Xp press "Esc". If there is no previous windows installation the system will go to Hard disk Partitioning window. If you want to create partition or divide your hard disk to 2 or more parts press "C" but make sure that all partition is deleted. To delete partition press "D". Then if you already created partitions select a partition that you want to install windows xp then press "Enter".

The Partition you've selected is going to be formatted. Select "Format the Partition Using the NTFS File System its either normal or quick. Setup is now Formatting.

The setup will check your disk and create a list of files to be copy. Then the setup will be copying the files, wait until 100 percent or your computer to reboot.

Setup is finished preparing installation you will notice that every reboot it always show "Press any key to boot from cd" but don't press any key again to continue in installing windows if do press any key the setup will restart.

Wait until the "regional and language options" window will appear then click "Next". Personalize Your Software Window Will Appear Encode your Name and Organization then click "next". Enter Your Product Key. Then enter your computer name and administrator password and click "next". Enter the Date and Time Settings.

Wait until Network Settings window will appear. Choose Typical Settings and click "next". Input your work group or if you have domain if you don't know about it just click "Next". Wait up to 25 minutes and your computer will reboot.

Finalizing Setup. Welcome Window Will Appear Click Next. Help to Protect you PC window will appear choose if want to turn automatic updates or Not (optional) then Click Next. Setup is checking your internet connectivity just skip this window. Registering Microsoft window will appear choose "no, at this time" and Next. Enter Your Name or User account and click Next.

Installing windows Xp is Finish.

Cloning a disk is one of the fastest way of copying all programs and files from a hard disk to another hard disk of a computer it is very useful when you are going to setup many computers. It is a process of transferring all installed programs etc. from a hard disk to another hard disk in a fastest way you don't need to install all programs per computer better to do is to perform a Disk Drive Cloning . Disk Drive cloning can perform using a disk cloning software or utilities like acronis cloning utilities, Hiren's Boot CD and more. First thing you need to do is to make a source hard drive. The Source Hard Drive is a Hard Disk that are completely installed. Better to reformat first your source Hard Drive then installed all programs you are going to be needed. Then if you have already your Source Hard Drive Time for you to do a Disk Drive Cloning.

Things needed:

1. Source Hard Drive
2. CD ROM Drive or DVD ROM
3. Disk Cloning Utility
4. Destination Hard Disk Drive - This could be the destination of all programs and files from your Source Hard Disk.

Insert your CD ROM Drive, Source Hard Disk Drive and your destination hard disk. make sure that all the drives are detected by your system and set your Source Hard Drive in BIOS as a Primary Master then set also your CD ROM Drive as a First Boot Device. After Configuring that settings insert your bootable CD of Disk Cloning Utility. Because of the settings you've configure the system will first read the cd from your CD ROM Drive (that is your Disk Cloning Utility) then read and follow the instruction from of the utility disc on how to perform a Disk Clone. Cloning Process take at least 30 to 40 minutes. After Disk Cloning test your destination disk if it is working and if it is the same to your Source Disk. If it is totally working change some settings in your clone disk like IP Address and Full computer name to avoid Conflicting of the systems in a network. Putting a Static IP Address in computer

Sometimes we can encountered a network problem called "Conflict IP address in a network". It means there is two or more the same IP address in your network or Computer. Sometimes it is happening when your IP address was obtain automatically. There is a way to avoid conflicting of IP Addresses in a network and that is manually putting of a static IP address in your computers.

Follow this Instructions on how to manually set a static IP Address in a Network Computers.

1. Right Click the Icon of "My Network Places" then go to properties.
2. Right Click the "Local Area Network Icon" then choose properties.
3. Local Area Network Properties will appear, The double click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP\IP).
4. Then the Internet Protocol (TCP\IP)Properties will appear. Click "Use the Following IP Addresses".
5. Then you can now set manually an Ip Address on that computer. Including your subnet mask "255.255.255.0" and the default gateway of the internet server.
6. If you are connected on the internet Put a Preferred DNS Server same as the IP address of the default gateway then click Ok.

How to backup files from usb to computer using command Promt

You can use this tips if you want to back up your files from your Universal Serial Bus (USB) to your computer safely when you are going to format your USB Drive because of the viruses. You don’t need to open your USB Drive to copy your files and paste it in your computer storage if you do that there is a posibility to infect your system by the viruses from your USB Drive. You can back up files from USB to computer using a command promt.

First thing to do is open command promt by cliking Start > All Programs > Accessories > then Command Promt, or you can do it faster by clicking Start > Run > Then Type “cmd”. When the Command Promt appear type the corresponding letter of your usb like for example is F: then press enter. Now you are in your USB Drive type “dir” to display the directory of all files files in the USB then type “attrib”. All files in your usb will appear in command prompt. Next Command is “copy” it goes like this, if you want to copy all word documents like for example in the drive D: of your computer follow this command type “copy (file name) d:” for example the file name is “backupme.doc” the command goes like this “f:\copy backupme.doc d:”. The same way to other file like like music, pdf, excel,PowerPoint and more just type copy (space) file name (space) destination. How about when you want to copy all word documents at the same time? It is possible just follow this command, copy (space) *.doc (space) d: (The Symbol * means all) so all word documents will be copied in your destination d:. If your files is in a folder inside your USB the command is “Copy (space) folder Name (space) Destination. For example the name of your folder is “music” the command looks like this “copy music d:” The last command is if you want to copy all files from your USB including documents, music, folders, and other. Type copy (space) *.*(space) destination. (copy *.* d:)

How to remove Viruses using command promt

Viruses is one of the biggest problem of our computer system. Viruses can cause your PC to be Always hang, Computer Operating System Corrupt, Hard disk drive Bad sectors and more. There are also many ways on how to remove those viruses, you can remove it by scanning your drives using your anti virus and you can also remove it manually using a command prompt. Scanning of viruses using of your Anti virus is very common so I will going to give you a tips on how to remove viruses using a command prompt.

Follow this instructions:

Go to command prompt. click start > run > then type "cmd".
Command Prompt will appear then type the drive letter. Example: you want to remove viruses in your drive d:.
Type d: (colon) and press enter.
Then type "attrib" then press enter.
Directories from drive d: will viewed. Find the batch file of the viruses like .bat, .inf, and sometimes .exe ( be careful in deleting the .exe batch file it is an installer of a software but if you see a mysterious .exe file that is a virus example are : new folder.exe and sex.exe.)
Delete viruses using a command "del" and the virus name it goes like this " del (space) bungoton.bat" then press enter.
After deleting all viruses restart your computer.
after the restart go again in the command prompt then type the drive letter and press enter and type "attrib" then enter.

If the viruses that you delete before you restart your PC is back I recommend you to reformat your computer but if the viruses are gone after you restart your computer it means you made it successful. Troubleshooting PC Always Hang

There are many reasons on why your PC is always hanging it might be some of the electronic devices of your motherboard is not working, or you have an corrupted Operating System, or your computer is infected by viruses and it might be also your hard disk drive has many bad sectors. I provide some of solutions to that problems who made your PC Always Hang. Follow this tips on how to fix your computer on different problems that can cause your PC always hang.

1. Some of electronics devices in your PC Motherboard is not working. This problem occurred when your computer is old or dirty inside this can cause your electronics devices to be not work like a capacitors that can cause your computer to be damage or can make your PC to hang. The solutions to this problems to clean your motherboard and its electronic devices. Then check all the electronic devices specially the capacitors if it is still working using an electronic tester. If you found out that there are some electronics devices that are not functioning that's the possible reason why your computer is always hanging. Fix it by replacing the damage electronic devices take note that in replacing the damage electronic devices use the same voltage of the damage electronics device. You can use soldering tools like soldering led, soldering pump, and soldering iron in replacing those damage electronic devices.

2. Your Computer Operating System is corrupted. If your computer Operating System is corrupted your system will not properly working or malfunction example of effect of this is your Computer will always Hang. The solution for this is to repair the installation of your Operating System using the Operating System Installer or Reformat your system and install a fresh copy of operating system. How to Fix Boot Disk Failure

Boot Disk Failure is one of the basic problem that we encountered in our computer. This Problem is cause by losing hard disk drive or the hard disk drive was not detected by the computer. Hard Disk Drive is the system storage of the computer so if it is not detected you cannot load into your operating system unless you will used a live operating system stored in compact disk.

Here is the reason why hard disk drive getting failed. first losing a power supply, loss connection of IDE Cable, Sometimes it happens also when the jumper of the drive was not in proper position and I have also encountered that the drive was detected but the Operating System was failed to load and I found out that there is no Operating System Installed and it means failed.

Here are some Idea on How to fix Boot disk Failure first go to the bios system and try to auto detect all hard drive if it is not detected change the power supply connected in the Hard Drive then go back to the bios system and auto detect again all the hard drives, if it is not detected again change the IDE Cable connected on the Hard Disk then auto detect it on bios, another solution is remove the jumper of the Hard disk so the system will automatically detect the settings for the Hard disk and last suggestion check it first if there is an Operating System installed in a computer because without an operating system it means failure even your hard disk drive detected.

How to Install Videoget

Videoget is a software that can download a video in different video sites like youtube by using a URL.

Follow the instructions on how to install videoget software.

The file in the desktop is the Videoget installer that type of file is a winrar achiever double click it to open.

The videoget.rar - Winrar (evaluation copy) will appear. Double click the Videoget installer.

Then it will be extracting file from the videoget.rar

Videoget setup will appear. click next to continue.

Then Click I agree. That's for the license and distribution for using the software.

Please choose a install location or destination folder of the software. Then Click Install.

Installation is on progress.

The Installation is complete. If you want to create a desktop icon, quick launch icon and to run videoget after setup is finished check the thee boxes in additional settings. Then click next to continue.

In completing the videoget setup wizard click Finish.

How to get back the Missing Desktop Icons

Sometimes its happening after reformatting a computer some desktop icons are missing such as My Computer, My Network Places, My Documents and Internet Explorer. Those icons are very important to seen in desktop specially to those people who are unfamiliar in using a computer it helps them to have a shortcut icons.

Follow this instruction on how to get back the missing desktop icons on your desktop.

This is a desktop without some important icons you can't see the icons of My Computer, My Network Places My Documents and Internet Explorer.

First thing to do is you'll go to the desktop properties. To do this you have to right click in the desktop then click Properties.

The Display Properties will appear. Click Desktop Tab.

Then Click the Customize desktop tab.

Then the desktop items will appear.

In desktop Items you will see the four unchecked boxes named: My Documents, My Computer, My Network Places, and Internet Explorer. Next thing to do is you have to check the boxes by clicking it then Press OK.

Almost Done! the missing desktop icons finally back in the desktop.

Many ways on how to get back those icons in the desktop but I think that's the proper way on how to get it back.

Cat5 Cable Color Codings

Network color coding is very important thing in doing a network cable connections. Network Color coding are used to specify the kind of connection are you going to do or what devices are going to connect. There are three common Network connections that are using a color coding in order to connect those Hardware and Devices. These are the connections from PC to another PC, the connections from PC to HUB, And the connections from Router to any Devices. These three connections are using different types of color settings of a network cable according to its standard cable color settings of the devices that are going to connect.

In doing the Network Cable Color Coding you must have these Equipments:

Cat5 Network Cable - These is a network wire cable with eight different colors inside the shield of the cable. It is used to connect those devices.
RG45 - it is attached in the both ends of the network cable wire and it is the used to connect the two devices with both RG45 ports. Example, from PC to PC with both LAN Cards.
Crimping tools - Used to Cut the cable wire and to compress the RJ45 so the Cat5 wire will attached to the RG45

Local Area Network (LAN) Tester - It is used to test the network cable wire connectivity speed and in order you to know that your crimped cable wire is working.

Network Cable Color Codings:

PC to HUB

(Straight Thru)

Straight Thru - this type of color coding used in cable connection from Personal Computer (PC) to the HUb. Straight Thru has two type of color codings the 568A and the 568B, they has different color settings but they are both used in PC to HUB cable connection. It depends on you if what type are you going to used.

(Cross-over)

Cross-over - this type of color coding used to the cable connections from Personal Computer (PC) to another Personal Computer (PC).
